Default How do i...

I'm really sorry if this is in the wrong place, and if it is, please, Move it. I don't want to upset anybody ^_^

Erm, I'm just wondering how to get [Hot] Pink on warrior Ascalon armor? I've tried Purple and Orange like on the elementalist armor, but my boyfriend told me everything is different..

So, if anybody out there can give me a hand, i'd be very greatful!

umm not every armor is capable on obtaining "hot" pink. for example, eagle's armor... the closest it can get to "hot" pink is a fugly looking purple.

so take your boyfriend's word for it:

Here is a thread that kinda goes over different ways to dye your armor. It's old but it might help.

You could always check the community works, there are some dye guides. I know there is one for elementalist, necromancer, not sure about warrior though.

Silver would defiantly be a component in making pink.. (Silver-Red-Grey <or> Orange???) I am not sure if you can achieve hot Pink with the color combinations offered..I have never seen it before (does not mean it does not existing ),However i have seen a hot pink Chaos ax. You might want to post a pic or a description of what kind of armor you are trying to dye hot pink in order to get some more accurate information.

In the mean time here are some old links i Found for you

Hope that helps!

(and sorry to Guildwars Guru for posting a link to INCgamers)

here's all the 1 and 2 dye combos. I don't see anything remotely close to a pink or red color (which you could hopefully lighten) so you're probably out of luck.

Warrior Ascalon Armor

Single Dye:

Two Dye Mixes:

Black

Blue

Brown

Green

Gray

Orange

Purple

Red

Silver

White

Yellow

Pretty certain the original hot pink mix used dye remover in the blend, sadly that is no longer available.

Purple orange or Purple red come close, start with those and try adding silver if you want it lighter or brown which darkens and alters the shade a little.

Found an old recipe I wrote down, It reads
Silver + Red = light Red
Purple + Red = Pink
Light Red + Pink = Hot pink

so try those four dyes and see what you think

From up on that dye chart, I'd maybe try purple, red and white, or purple, red, red and white....
